La cantante inglese sforna il nuovo singolo che sarà la colonna sonora dei giochi olimpici di Rio
“Victory is in my veins”: “Rise”, la nuova potente canzone di Katy Perry, colonna sonora delle prossime Olimpiadi di Rio de Janeiro, ha fatto il suo debutto sulle piattaforme digitali mondiali lasciando tutti in estasi.
Il pezzo è stato creato – ha affermato l’artista – “per ispirarci a guarire, unirci e reagire insieme. Questa è una canzone che ha fermentato dentro di me per anni e finalmente è venuta a galla. Sono stata ispirata a finire il brano ora, più che per il mio prossimo album, perché oggi più che mai c’è bisogno che il mondo sia unito. So che insieme possiamo rinascere dalla paura nel nostro Paese e in tutto il mondo”.
“Rise” diviene così non solo l’inno dei giochi olimpici ma anche una necessità di dichiarare la voglia di riemergere da un mondo macchiato di sangue e vergogna, alla luce anche degli ultimi tragici eventi che hanno colpito Nizza. La vittoria è nelle nostre vene e dobbiamo farla scorrere dentro di noi perché il cuore arrivi a pompare fino al traguardo finale, quello di libertà e rispetto dell’umanità.
Katy ancora una volta convince e fa il botto, “Rise” sta scalando le classifiche mondiali e su iTunes Italia ha già conquistato il primo posto. Il video è un glorioso montaggio di campioni olimpici i cui volti si sposano perfettamente con le parole del brano: sembra comunque che la canzone non sia il primo singolo ufficiale che anticipa il nuovo album della cantante, ma l’attesa sta terminando visto che il lavoro dovrebbe vedere la luce ad Agosto.
Intanto sul filone di “Firework” e “Roar”, Katy sforna un altro pezzo dalle sonorità elettro-pop con quello spiccato crescendo di batteria che coinvolgeì l’ascoltatore in un trionfo di adrenalina ed immagine riflessa nell’essere campione del proprio destino.
